Rare Still Plans to Develop for the GBA
Posted at 5:55 am by Eman
After their departure from being a Nintendo exclusive developer to becoming a Microsoft exclusive, there was much discussion regarding their GBA games. Thankfully they have confirmed that GBA developement is continuing with a reply in the latest Scribes: "At the end of the day, however, it's not as if Rare has stopped making games entirely. We're still out there, still working as hard as ever. All that's changed is the platform, as it has many times before in the past (something the Timeline was meant to emphasise), and I don't see how you can argue the case for any kind of 'betrayal' when there's still a solid relationship with Nintendo in place - how do you think we intended to manage future GBA development without it?" Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge is confirmed to still be coming, but as for the fates of Rare's other three known projects, no one knows. Source: Rareware
